Beta Test Agreement

This agreement applies to anyone using Resonatr during our private beta. By signing up, you agree to the terms below. We've kept this short and plain — if anything is unclear, email legal@resonatr.io before agreeing.

1. What Resonatr is

Resonatr is an AI-powered website personalisation platform. We're currently in private beta — that means the product is functional but actively being developed and improved.

2. What "beta" means in practice

You should expect:

• The service may have bugs, errors, or unexpected behaviour
• Features may change, be added, or be removed without notice
• We don't guarantee any specific uptime, performance, or availability
• The product may be unavailable for periods of maintenance or updates
• The classification model is improving over time and may produce inconsistent results

You should NOT use Resonatr beta for mission-critical business operations.

3. What it costs

Resonatr is free to use during your beta period. We don't commit to any specific pricing after the beta ends — when you're invited to a paid plan, you'll see the price before agreeing to it.

4. What we ask of you

In exchange for free access, we ask that you:

• Provide honest feedback when we ask for it
• Tell us about bugs, confusion, or issues you encounter
• Engage with us in good faith

We don't require a minimum amount of feedback. Even a few quick comments are appreciated.

5. Case studies and references

We may want to reference your usage in marketing materials, case studies, or sales conversations. We will always ask your permission first before any specific reference. You can decline any specific request without affecting your beta access.

6. Your data — your rights

You own your data. We never sell it, share it with third parties for marketing, or use it to train models for other customers.

You can at any time:

• Export all your data in a standard format
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Request a copy of what we hold about you
• Correct anything that's wrong

Email privacy@resonatr.io for any data request. We respond within 14 days, usually much faster.

7. How we handle your data

Resonatr uses these sub-processors to deliver the service:

• Supabase (USA) — database and authentication
• Vercel (USA) — application hosting
• Anthropic (USA) — AI content generation
• Resend (USA) — transactional email
• Cloudflare (UK / global) — domain and DNS

Each is contractually committed to GDPR-compliant data handling. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

8. Liability

Because Resonatr beta is provided free, our total liability to you under this agreement is limited to the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months — which is zero.

This doesn't limit liability for fraud, gross negligence, or matters that cannot be limited under English law.

9. Ending the beta

You can stop using Resonatr at any time. Just log in and delete your account, or email hello@resonatr.io.

We can end the beta or revoke individual access at any time, including if you:

• Use the service to break the law
• Send spam or abusive content through Resonatr's systems
• Attempt to disrupt or attack the service
• Breach this agreement materially

If we end your access for cause, we'll give you 14 days to export your data first (unless safety requires faster action).

10. When this agreement changes

We may update this agreement during the beta. We'll notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. If you don't agree with changes, you can end your participation before the new terms apply.

11. Governing law

This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
